GOOD EVENING PALMETTO RIDGE BAND!
I hope each of you enjoyed a long weekend with your families. With so many positive things happening in our band program, we maintain a busy schedule. I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say - it's good to have an extra day of relaxation.

Before we begin the update, I'd like to take a moment and thank those band parents who continually step up to the plate to work very hard for our band. Specifically, our Booster Executive Board and our other valued Boosters. Mrs. Welch, Mrs. Isabella, Mrs. Andrus, Mrs. Grundeman - we are forever indebted to you and your service for our kids at PRHS. Thank you!

Also, another shout out to our Concession Committee - Mr. Grundeman and Mr. Schott, and our Equipment guys, headed by Mr. Mohrbacher. Without you, our band couldn't do what we need to do to strive for superior musicianship. Thanks very much!

• Parents - please be sure your student has some spending money for concessions and then enough for a quick stop to eat on the way home. We plan on staying on East Coast until approximately 8:15pm so the students can observe the Open and World Class Color Guards.

NEW ORLEANS UPDATE:
At this time, all New Orleans payments should have been received. We respectfully ask that all funds be turned in to the PRHS Band Office by THIS FRIDAY. If we do not have your total amount for the trip, we will be taking your student off the Bus List/Roster for the trip. Please remit payment to the Band Office - checks are made payable to: PRHS Band Boosters, Inc. Thank you!

IMPORTANT PARENT CHAPERONE REQUEST:
On March 1st (Pardee's Birthday :-), we will be hosting over 10 middle school concert bands from SW FL for Concert Band Districts. Some of the bands MUST arrive early to PRHS because of bussing issues. If you are able and willing to assist the middle school band directors as chaperone AT PRHS from 12:30 onward, please send me an email. Because of these difficult bussing issues and performance times, some students must be watched while the Director is conducting other bands. Please message me if you can assist.
