Chaperones
Hello from Kathy!
Thank you for your interest in chaperoning for the 2009-2010 school year. Please follow all of the chaperone requirements. You will not be able to chaperone until all of the steps have been completed.
It may take 2 to 4 weeks from the time you have your fingerprints taken until the Administration Center has your background check back.
All steps must be completed by September 10th in order to chaperone for the 2009-2010 school year. This includes the trip to Tennessee.
You will need to purchase a band parent shirt to wear while chaperoning. The cost will be approx. $10.00. We will have them for sale at the mandatory meeting August 25, 2009.
There will be a mandatory meeting for chaperones in the band room August 25, 2009 at 7 PM.
You will have the opportunity at the August chaperone meeting to choose the dates that you would like to chaperone. You must chaperone at least twice prior to March to be eligible to chaperone the Tennessee trip.
Dates may be added or deleted but opportunities to chaperone are in blue:
- January Jazz Band Districts
- February Symphonic Band Districts
- March St. Patrick's Day Parade
- April Gatlinburg, Tennessee Trip and Six Flags Over Georgia
